WHO: Asian Eye Institute

WHAT: Asian Eye Institute is holding a 2-day Free EyeScan event entitled “Life without Filters.” The EyeScan is an eye disease pre screening that can identify signs of eye disease like cataract, glaucoma, retinal problems and cornea and external disease.

WHERE: Activity Area, Commercenter Alabang, Muntinlupa City

WHEN: March 24-25, 2017 10AM to 6PM

WHY: In line with its 15th anniversary theme “Transforming Lives with Clear Vision,” Asian Eye offers free eye disease pre-screening that is aimed at helping increase awareness and appreciation of the importance of how eye condition can affect their vision and their daily lives and educate people about their eye health. Many serious eye conditions and diseases seldom show early warning signs and symptoms, but their effects can be devastating over time. By the time patients notice something amiss, their vision is already compromised and their daily lives are already affected. .

For 2 days, Asian Eye will provide the EyeScan that will be facilitated by a team composed of optometrists and ophthalmic technicians. The EyeScan uses digital images to detect signs of eye diseases: cataract, glaucoma, retinal diseases and corneal disease. The event will also feature information displays that show different eye diseases – symptoms and treatments and ways to preserve your vision and will allow mall goers to wear glasses that will show them what their vision would be like with eye disease. The Eye Selfie photo booth will also print photos according to how a person with eye disease would see the photos. 8th, 9th and 10thFlrs. PHINMA Plaza, Rockwell Center, Makati City
